My story:
Fishing, especially for trout, has always been my passion. From a very young age I became very interested in this most enjoyable activity, initially gaining experience in local inland waters in and around Surrey where I grew up, and over time, expanding into the South-West and North-East of England, as well across the South-East of England, and also in South and West Wales, where I have strong family connections.
In 2018, after exploring a range of different work options, I eventually found my pathway when I was given the opportunity to assist, and then eventually run a trout fishery, as the Fishery Manager, on the Surrey/Hampshire border in 2021. Frensham Trout Fishery. Trout fishing in Surrey. London 50 miles.
To support my personal development, I attended Sparsholt College, Winchester Welcome to Sparsholt College and University Centre, where I successfully gained a diploma in land/fishery management in 2020. After-which I then achieved Angling Trust Level 2 coaching status in 2022. To further my ambitions, I am currently an associate member of the Games Angling Instructors Association (GAIA) and hope to progress with a Instructor’s Certificate (GAIC) in the near future.
